Reisfields x Great Jones Distillery
An art piece two years in the making in partnership between Reisfields and Great Jones™, the first whiskey distillery in New York City since the 1930s!
Working closely with Great Jones team, we designed a fragrance blend featuring a symphony of soft woods, sweet resins, and serene floral accords to help create a warm and cozy yet sophisticated space.
The statement piece vessel draws inspiration from the 1920's famous Art Deco highlighting the iconic straight lines defining the style. Designed, crafted, and poured in-studio by our hands in extra small batches. We mix recycled craftsman cement dust and natural earth pigments; sourced from Morocco and France.
After the candle life, your art piece becomes a planter or vase for dried botanicals. Estimated 100 hours of burn time with proper candle care. Trim all four wicks to 1/8th inch before every burn and never for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
Each candle comes in a numbered wooden box made by in-house carpenter Brianna Sealey.
Available at the stunning Great Jones Distillery located in SOHO at 686 Broadway. Due to the artisan nature of this piece, every vessel will have variations that make each one unique and are made to order on our website.
Top Note: Heliotrope, Oranger Flower, Patchouli
Middle Note: Cashmir Wood, Amber
Base Note: Cedarwood, Benzoin, Musk
Trim all 4 wicks to ¼ inch before every burn. Allow the candle to burn to the edge of the vessel for the first burn for an even burn. Never burn you candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time to give it the longest possible life. Extinguish the flame by snuffing it out or a quick dip into the melted wax. Reposition wicks as needed.
