Each Reisfields ceramic piece is handcrafted in our studio using a slip-cast process, then individually glazed and kiln-fired. Inspired by Guyana’s rich landscapes and waterways, every firing reveals subtle variations in color, texture, and finish. Making each piece truly one of a kind.

The lid features a rare gastropod shell, dating back approximately 50–100 million years, formed when the Indian subcontinent lay beneath the ocean. The shell was naturally replaced by chalcedony and encrusted with drusy quartz. Recovered from rock in Madhya Pradesh, India, it was carefully hammered, chiseled, and hand-extracted to preserve a remarkable piece of Earth’s ancient history.

Each ceramic vessel is paired with Signature Fragrance No. 9, our luxurious aquatic home fragrance inspired by Guyana, the Land of Many Waters. A sophisticated marine fragrance of bright lemon, Victoria amazonica water lily, solar notes, Ambroxan, musk, cedarwood, moss, and warm amber, No. 9 was created to evoke the serene feeling of being surrounded by water.

Designed to be more than a candle vessel, each piece is functional art made to live beyond the flame. When your candle is finished, repurpose it as home décor or give it new life with our upcoming Reisfields candle wax refills or diffusers.

Top Note: Lemon, Marine Accord, Tea Leaf

Middle Note: Amazonica Water Lily, Solar, Freesia, Muguet

Base Note: Ambroxan, Musk, Cedarwood, Moss, Amber

Trim wick to ¼ inch before every burn. Allow the candle to burn to the edge of the vessel for the first burn for an even burn. Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time to give it the longest possible life. Extinguish the flame by snuffing it out or a quick dip into the melted wax. Hand-wash only.
